Global dialogue program

Global Dialogue is a 1-3 day program that introduces teachers to the CGEP Global Competence Framework and the Essentials of Dialogue from Generation Global. Teachers learn how to engage their students in discussions about global issues within the classroom, with peers around the world, and through facilitated online forums. This program is a based on a partnership with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and is best suited for secondary teachers. However, accommodations can be made for elementary teachers.

Intercultural Ambassador Program

International students studying at SDSU are selected each year to serve as Intercultural Ambassadors in local K-12 schools. Ambassadors work with host teachers to provide cross-cultural learning experiences to promote global competence and leadership, college and study abroad preparation, and unique cultural exchange. This program is presented in partnership with the SDSU International Student Center. For 2020-2021, we will call upon last year’s returning international students to adapt their learning experiences for Fall distance learning exchanges. Please contact Emily Schell at eschell@sandiego.edu for more information.

Global Book Bags Program
