Developing the potential in every global citizen in the Greater Long Beach & Los Angeles region

CGEP at CSU Long Beach serves educators across all disciplines in the Long Beach and Los Angeles region. The project supports professional learning for the development of global competence and 21st century learning skills among K-12 students. Featuring short- and long-term professional learning programs that address equity, student engagement, global issues, and interdisciplinary studies, this project is based in the Global Studies Institute at CSU Long Beach. The Regional Director is Barbara Vallejo Doten.


CGEP at CSU Long Beach offers programs that range from summer institutes to Saturday series to afterschool workshops. Join us for regional global education programs or contact us to create programs tailored for your school or district.
